The Center for Space Research Programs (CSRP) is a mission oriented science and technology center at PSU whose responsibilities include catalyzing faculty to undertake projects associated with future space missions. CSRP routinely offers Seed Grant funds to facilitate PSU Principal Investigators (PIs) in pursuing and maturing such an opportunity. Grant funds can be used to buy out faculty and/or graduate student time, provide collaborative funding (cost sharing) during concept development, or support proposal team efforts. This Seed Grant funding is expected to result in an increased capability for PSU to successful propose to a specific space mission opportunity. There is a preference for seed grant funding that directly results in a submitted proposal. The funding will normally total $10,000 - $25,000 within a PSU fiscal year. The number of Seed Grants will be based on available CSRP funding.
